If you are looking for a good thrift store that supports local charities, then look no further.
This store is run by wonderful volunteers like Jim. That's right " THEY DON'T GET PAID", but go out of their way to take care of each person who come in.
About the items, yes some are covered with sheets because they haven't had a chance to price these things. The reason the items are on the floor is because the tiny stockroom is packed with other great things just waiting for their turn to catch your eye.
REMEMBER THEY DON'T HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE WANTING TO WORK FOR FREE! So be patient!!
I have found some fantastic deals in this place and yes some prices are a little high. However they have discounts on certain color price tags often.
So stop by and see Jim and tell him Cheryll sent you

This is a great thrift store that also helps animal rescue. They will even put sticker colors at half off for the day. It's true that it is a bit cluttered, but that's because they receive so many donations and not enough traffic. Personally, I don't mind a bit of clutter because it forces me to slow down and look at everything that they have. I agree with other reviews that a couple things are overpriced, but not everything. I mean, they're as much, or usually cheaper than Goodwill prices. And I have always gotten great deals from here. The employees I've met have always been wonderful, too. So, I'm sure if there's something that you really like, you can talk with them and they'll work with you.

I have just experienced the St Paws Thrift Store. And, after reading reviews, instead of talking about how dirty, disorganized and super expensive it is, I will pass on some advice. Having owned and run several such stores, I know that if the back end is overrun with incoming items, it’s time to have a BIG sale. Most of what I saw was way overpriced, so I suggest concentrating on moving more, rather than waiting to get more for these types of items. Many thrift stores close due to lack of traffic - caused primarily by stagnant merchandise that won’t sell because of the price. Overpricing on the front end causes sheets over piles of unpriced items and backup in the back. A 75% OFF Storewide, well advertised sale could potentially bring in a couple thousand dollars in one weekend. Also, a $1500 piece is not likely to sell in the socio-economic area of the store . If it is truly worth that much, put it on eBay.
I fully understand the volunteer aspect. If they truly care about the store and it’s cause, they should be willing to help get it cleared up so that customers can move freely and comfortably from display to shelves to racks.

This is one of the better thrift stores in town. Don't miss. All kinds of great finds every time I have stopped. Parking is plentiful as well. They also won best of 2022. Love these people and everything they do.

Older woman with short white hair & older man with white beard (maybe owners or just volunteers on a pedestal?) are both very rude as well as a young dirty blonde female volunteer. The older couple at first ignored me when I asked for an item to be tested before I bought it & when the woman tested it, it DID NOT WORK!!! Then she just walked away completely ignoring the fact the item did not work no apology, no nothing & wouldn’t even acknowledge me after the fact that they would’ve sold a defective item having a NO RETURN POLICY she literally walked off!!! The man snapped at me for trying to buy a small picture that had no price tag directly on it but the basket it was in DID have a price tag for all individual items in the basket!!! Even the male volunteer at that time said I was correct the basket was priced for all individual photos in it they were not individually priced. On another visit the young female with dirty blonde hair admitted she was mad having paying full price elsewhere for the exact item I found here for way less, used of course, & drops it with no apology just picked it up still dusty & shoved it back in the box!!! Not all volunteers are rude.

Who picks the rude people?!

Aside of all of that nonsense there’s seriously hardly any room to walk through this packed store & that’s no joke it’s a real fire hazard! There’s piles on piles of items with no prices that you’ll be told are NOT for sale even though they’re on the sales floor! I asked why & was told they haven’t priced them yet & no room in the back. (Then why put them out?! Price faster! Bait is all I can think of.) Obviously items are only sold after they get researched on line first for the highest selling price. Make the shop better not your reviews from fake 5 star reviews trying to explain why this is all ok. Sketchy shop!!! The concept behind this shop is fantastic IF it was run VERY differently. Will not shop here again!!!

I came in, the place is a filthy wreck. We shopped anyways. I got stuffed animals for my children and found out in the open, not on the counter or anything, but placed with other items for sale, two blue fish, one with a pink hat and one with a blue hat for hanging on the wall. But a rude white haired woman said that they’re not for sale and her reasoning for putting them on the floor was that they’re breakable? So she wouldn’t sell them to me, and was quite rude rather than sorry, so we put everything back and left. I wouldn’t ever shop here again. If she wanted to make a sale then She would’ve priced and sold them immediately. This place is a joke.

The total worst experience ever. We picked up 2 items from the shelf which had no price and the older white lady was very rude and said it isn’t priced so it isn’t for sale and walked off. The entire store is way OVER PRICED and literally has a fowl odor. Definitely go elsewhere if you want a good shopping experience.

Very friendly and helpful. Fair prices and variety. I love what they do with the profits. All my donations go to them now because they are helping our animal rescues not making their pockets full
