Zentrales und sauberes Businesshotel, aber auch nur das. Alles wirkt praktisch und modern. Personal extrem freundlich und hilfbereit. Frühstück eher englisch als kontinental, muss man mögen. Alles zu Fuß innerhalb von 30 minuten zu erreichen.

Looking for a hotel for a gig at the Hydro, there’s a good choice now, Courtyard is the closest. What a location for the OVO Hydro, you can just about reach it from the end of the corridor.||The hotel is pretty much brand new, spotlessly clean, lovely public areas, great staff, spacious room (929), great bed, that’s the good.||Why in the name of all that’s good was it decided that a glass door be fitted to the bathroom, frosted it is, but it means that if you’re up overnight and switch the light on, everyone is up. Not to mention the lack of any kind of privacy. Having said that, the light from the bathroom isn’t going to grab your attention too much because the glow of the air conditioning control will have already done that. An air con panel needs a temperature control, a fan control and an off button, anything that has to be navigated using multiple controls and is lit up to that extent is pretty useless in a hotel room.||Two simple design decisions that ruin what would be a great stay otherwise, shame.

The hotel is perfectly situated for the OVO where we were attending a concert. A modern hotel but the communal space is well thought out. It is multifunctional- for breakfast, to have drinks from the fully stocked bar (which is reasonably priced) to recreational areas. We were given an upgrade which was very comfortable. Nothing much around the hotel but restaurants and shopping a cheap uber trip away. We really couldn't fault the hotel and would definitely visit again. I should add that the staff were all charming.

This hotel deserves more than 3.5/5. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to help such as giving you a glass with ice to take to your room or helping fill up a bottle of water. I also really appreciated the welcome Got Moxy Welcome cocktail. The lobby has a great atmosphere with good music and is very spacious. Food is available from the bar but the range of menu items are limited. The rooms are very modern and new. My only critique is that the hotel website says that the rooms have air conditioning. It is actually climate control which is controlled by reception. Although my first night had cold air which was good and I slept well, the second night did not blow out cold air but warm air. I had no control over this so I opened the window only to hear the noise of cars on the busy roads. Although I highly rate this hotel, I would be hesitant to stay a night during the height of summer if the room temperature cannot be cooled down to a comfortable level. The hotel building is very modern and new so likely well insulated which is good for energy efficiency but this can make the rooms uncomfortably warm. I don’t understand the concept of climate control because it is supposed to blow in cold air during summer but it blew out warm air. Other than that an excellent stay.

Stayed here as we were going to the Hydro for a gig. It's in a brilliant location, it's literally just across the road from the venue. The hotel is lovely, a great bar and the room was nice. The bed was so comfortable! All the staff were lovely as well. We will definitely be back.

Most notable thing here was the staff; especially Amy the manager who really did as much as she could to make our stay enjoyable. The other staff we met really were superb too and that positive attitude really makes you feel comfortable staying here. I had the feeling all of them did not only respond to your question but also thought what more they could do and went out of their way to make a difference - nothing major but even small things are greatly appreciated!|Breakfast buffet was plentiful and good. |We found the rooms small, but thats just your typical Courtyard style.|For anyone wondering baout parking - this works out at 12 GBP per day in the connected SEC multi storey.

We had a wonderful stay at this Marriott Courtyard. Our room was great & the food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff was very friendly & polite from the checkin personnel to the restaurant staff. Ben the restaurant manager was especially generous with his time. He was always very professional, courteous & helpful, answering all our questions patiently. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Glasgow.

Perfect location for ovo hydro with lovely rooms and easy parking in the multi storey attached! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, particularly Ben in the restaurant who was so kind and inclusive of my son who had special needs and struck up a friendship with my youngest also, such a nice guy and made our trip extra special. Will definitely stay again next time we visit
