I have to say this is the worst thrift store I've ever been in. It is extremely overpriced, and a lot of the things are so old and wore out with the most ridiculous prices on them that I've ever seen. Even the goodwill wouldn't put some of these things in their store. The part that gets me is that most people go to thrift stores because they can't afford to buy it new hints, that's why a thrift store is a place to go to buy things that you may need that's cheap and affordable. But this stores prices are insane. I thought I was dreaming when I walked in and saw the prices on things that were older than my dead grandmother and I'm not talking in good condition I'm talking about in really bad condition broken and dirty even in some cases gross. Things are broken stained and very dirty. They have chairs and couches that are stained and dirty with rips or holes in them and ugly as well for 80.00 to 120.00 dollars. Their the kind of things you'd see under a bridge where homeless people live. Why would you sell that to the public. And as far as the antiques or the vintage stuff goes, it's not worth the insane prices they are asking. It's damaged or worn out. To this point of the glassware so-called antiques, they are way out there on over pricing. I would never pay a 100.00 for a glass vase. I just moved to Inverness, I was looking to go to the goodwill, which turns out Inverness doesn't have one. So, I went to all the thrift stores that I could find. But this one tops the list of being a total rip-off with really nasty stuff, which is totally insane. I will post a few pics.

Initial visit was good. So much so that we decided to donate to Key Thrift Store exclusively. Went back to donate. Staff in BACK were VERY RUDE. Did not offer to help us unload. And would not take an item because it had been cooked in. It had been cleaned, was an item that was pretty expensive and used ONCE. Asked if we could dump it in one of the 3 dumpsters if they wouldn't take it and they replied NO. As a result, your 5 star rating just dropped to 2. If this is a training facility CUSTOMER SERVICE should be a priority. Done, there are lots of places that actually want to have customers.

Trying to price gouge a wheelchair they got for free for $800… yikes. Obviously cares more about making money than helping out someone in the community.

Great prices, good people, plenty of selection. A bit unkept, but for what they do here, it is about as good as you can get. The store feels older, but they have done what they can to make it look good.

Rude staff. The employees in the back are extremely rude. We attempted to donate in the back of the store like we have to giving here for over 20 years. We had cleaned up my mother's eBay and flea market room of items she was selling and unfortunately she passed away and we are trying to donate these items. My 82 year old father and myself saw a long line of drop offs so we had 2 bags of papers and loose items from my mothers desk we thought it would be ok to throw away these bags while we waited to donate. My bag ripped open on the ground in front of the garbage bin. 1000s of papers and desk drawer junk items. So great I need to pick up my mess. A blonde woman with a very thick accent aggressively came over to us SCREAMING no no no you can't do this we pay for garbage and we have cameras etc. I was extremely polite and on my knees on the cement picking up my mess. I asked is it ok to pick this up she ignored anything I had to say and continued to berate us. I ended with I understand let me clean my mess. She walked away and still was yelling out we can't put garbage in their bin. I put the papers in a plastic tote that was laying next to the garage. I placed that in the garage and a second woman just as aggressive as the blonde woman screaming and threatening we will get a $500 dumping fine. I asked her if I could explain what had just happened and she screaming ignored anything I was saying. What great customer service the staff here have. I have no problem not putting garbage where it don't belong. We did not see signs, someone could have politely walked over and politely asked us not to put things in their bin. We have donated $1000s of worth of products to this store to be treated like these two women treated my father and I I would never donate another item or recommend anyone to donate anything to this organization if this is the type of staff they believe is acceptable. Look at the other reviews I am not the only person to have issues with them.

We were just at the key center in Inverness. As soon as she checked me out I questioned the cost of an item that I thought was two dollars but was written in red sharpie on a black base was six dollars which I can still hardly see. She unable refund because no manager was on duty. The item brand new was not $6 ... Sad to say but we will not be returning to any of the Key training centers Thrift stores.

The store is way overpriced on most items. The $1.00 clothes might be about the only bargain you may find here.
