I purchased a Halloween item for $2.00. Later in the day at the Dollar store I saw the same item for 1.00. I have also noticed they give away bibles.
There is a sign that states Bible are free! I could one and the cashier said that was not free! I asked why because the sign clearly states bibles are free! She no, not this one. There was no price on it. I said well how much is it? She said $10. I responded, no thank you. I suggested they change the sign asap but they did not want to hear it.
Prices gone way up past inflation of 3%. They would sell many more items if they changed their strategy.

I shop here on my way to other places because unlike a lot of thrift stores, they are open on Mondays. My problem is with one of the of cashiers. She needs to learn to do simple arithmetic. I paid for three items the other day on a 50% off sale, she said my total was $6.50, I said ok and paid with a $20 bill. She grabs my leftover change from a tip jar and counts it back to me, no receipt so I can prove her math skills stink. She gave me $8.00 back in change. My mistake was not checking for her mistake because she counted it back to me kind of weirdly and I was immediately confused. Please tell me, how is $20-6.50 is equal to $8.00? She short changed me by $5.50 but she counted it back as if it was correct. If I had known she was jacking up the price on me I wouldn't have bought some of the items I bought that day. I was shopping there for the sale, not to be scammed.

This place is getting ridiculous with their prices. I go weekly and went from spending a minimum of $20 to barely spending a dollar. They often have dollar tree items for $2-3! They cant sell the thousands of stamps they have because theyre all priced like theyre new! This all started because 3 or so years ago they found out someone sold a purse on ebay for a good profit that they bought from the store. I was there when they started pulling the purses off the shelf and they told me the story. Currently theres a very obviously cheap dollar tree doll on the behind the registers glass doll/expensive toy shelf for $2

The cashiers are also getting very rude. Ive watched them kick a mother and her children out of the store because the child was holding a toy(meaning they went to the toy room by themselves while she looked at the childrens clothes). One day one of the cashiers laughed at me for being short $1 and having to put an item i really wanted/kind of needed back. Another one who used to be the nicest woman and has worked there for years has now become short and very rude.

Its awful when youre poor and cant even afford to shop at the thrift stores any more. Its cheaper to buy the stuff new

I was very upset in the treatment I received from the cashier at this thrift store, I found 2 nice bras in the dollar bin. The cashier stopped me from purchasing them & had the manager put $15 each on them. I spend tons of money & drop off donations here monthly. The cashiers should not be doing this. The item should have been honored. I worked 4 years as a manager at Goodwill. I would have never stopped a customer from purchasing an item at the register & re-price it.

The thrift fund do not go to people in needed . I would steer away and the church itself pick and choose who to help with the members only. Such a sinner on their soul.
