If you love tools Charlie's is a great place to visit! An unbelievable selection of used tools from most major brands including names like Snap On, Craftsman, and Armstrong (just to name a few). Prices are reasonable, and the people are great.

Treasure hunting paradise. 1903 Etiquette book, crystal nut dish, and tire weight pliers that look like a bird of prey and a promised revisit when I need any tool. Thousands of quality used tools at great prices. Well worth the drive up the ribbon of death that is I25. If they added a bar, it would be paradise.

Called in advance to see if they had a heavy duty shelf for my storage room, and when the shopkeeper came back to the phone he told me about every shelf they had in stock! Came by the store to pick one up, and I think this is my new favorite store ? Seems like they have everything, reasonably priced, friendly people, etc. I told them I was also working on a dirtbike and was having trouble finding some discontinued parts, and the guys started calling their friends to find the parts for me… and they did! Will definitely be coming back here next time I need project supplies.

These dudes are cowards and low ballers. Came In with brand new stuff in packages worth about $200. Offered me ten bucks. I lugged it all on a motorcycle. I decided I'll take because I don't want to risk falling on way back. Then he all of a sudden changed his mind. I came in happy in a good mood after my house and car were burglarized, and this guy had no manners what so ever. Could have atleast had a better attitude and I would have just gave it to them. Just helped my new Venezuelan amigo stock up on tools so he can work. Steve helped set us up with a good assortment of construction basics for a fair price. Steve is a great human being. You’ll have fun shopping and he will make sure you have everything you need. Charlie’s 2nd Hand store was started by his grandfather and has helped so many get a good start in Denver.

I defy you to go into Charlie's and not have a good time. If you love clutter on a mind-boggling scale or want to feel your testosterone jump up to dangerous levels, this is the place for you. I've been haunting this place for fifteen years, but I think it's been open since Zebulon Pike explored the area. They have a gazillion hand saws, axes, screws, extension chords, power tools, and more random items than you can literally imagine. One could outfit a hundred wood or metal working shops from this place. Best part is, they almost never charge you the price on the items. They usually drop the price at the counter because they are just glad you are there. Also, they will buy your used stuff at a good price. "WE BUY ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T EAT". Pretty much sums it up.

I've been going here for over 33 years. They have every kind of tool! Whenever I need to replace a wrench, socket or special item for a repair or project, I can count on Charlie's 2nd Hand to have it or tell me where I can find it.

The store is brimming with estate sale items and quality new & used tools, yet their prices are always low. Some of the surplus items need a little cleaning, but hey, they are quality and the price is right.
Why buy cheap at Harbor freight when you get name brand at Charlie's for a better price?

Also, the guys are super helpful and freindly. Be sure to browse both rooms because you never can tell what they just got in that will. ? It's the ultimate toy store to me. Lol
