Hands-down best experience in the area. They had a great, very eclectic selection of instruments and super knowledgeable and friendly staff. I’m a single mom of two and wasn’t quite sure how I was going to swing affording a guitar for my son, but they were able to make it work for what I could afford (and even knocked off an extra $10 “to get the kids ice cream on the way home”)

The amp Mecca. You could spend all day in here and not see everything. Staff is extremely nice, prices are fair. I came in to pick up an amp I bought on Reverb but left with two amps. One of which they serviced on the spot for me and waived taxes for the hassle. Great service, I can’t wait to go back.

I have never experienced greater professionalism from a music retailer, in the Greater Washington area, than that of Atomic Music.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, to say the very least, as it is apparent that they are accomplished musicians themselves with years of experience. In other words, the type of professionals that are ideal employees.

It is clear to me that the owners have meticulously crafted a business model that is meant to adequately serve the needs of the public and as a result have created an engaging community for others to coalesce and thrive in.

I've had the privilege of purchasing and selling products to Atomic and the store has enhanced my quality of life thereof.

I wish I had discovered Atomic sooner. Do yourselves a favor and shop here. Today.

Awesome musical equipment "warehouse"! The place is packed with amps, guitars, and much more. No pushy salespeople, no rushing.
If you can't find what youre looking for at Atomic Music, you didn't look hard enough! Love this place!

I found this place a few weeks ago and it’s by far my favorite music store I’ve been to. Every time I go to Atomic, the staff are very welcoming and there always new deals and gear. A true hidden gem and I’ll always choose this store over others. They are in a league of their own.

I noticed this shop through Reverb after spotting a bass that I had been searching for quite awhile. After a 3 hour drive I left with my new best friend. (She might be the best damn bass I own now). Best way to describe Atomic is if Disneyland had a music store. If you like browsing or an absolute treasure hunt this is the place for you. There’s more gear here than you can ever imagine and it will take some time to go through. Best thing…..if you’re not the adventurous type and just happen to know what you want when you walk in, the staff at Atomic Music are totally there to help. If you don’t know they can help with that too! They’ll make you laugh and make you happy. Luis, the owner is top notch. He’s been running Atomic for years and has a handle on how to treat his clientele. (Big Box retailers take note). Though it was my first time at Atomic I was thoroughly impressed. Very laid back vibe to the place and even though it was a Saturday “madhouse”, I never had an issue with receiving help when needed. When it was time to purchase I was out quickly. In the end I left with a gorgeous, vintage bass for a really, really, good price. (No joke….a really good deal). The only thing that would make me happier is if I lived closer though I’d probably be broke if I did.
