They have an excellent selection of items. But my gosh the staff ?. I don't remember or paid attention to her name but it was around Halloween and the girl with the goth vampire makeup, acted like one. I pray she gets better. The store in Downtown Dallas / Deep Ellum; the staff is much more reasonable and attentive.

Sellers beware! As a buyer 2nd Street has an interesting selection of merchandise in the store that is fun to browse (4-5/5 stars). As a seller it pays abysmally (way lower than most of the secondhand stores in the DFW area 0-1/5 stars).
If you have anything worth money you should probably not sell to them. As a reference I sold 19 items to them this week and received $8.40 cash with no option offered to me for store credit that would have been higher. I sold 7 items of similar variety (shirts, pants, etc.) at Uptown Cheapskate the day before and was offered $24 cash (and more for store credit). Given that their prices are comparable to the other stores in the area and quite high for designer items, they must be making a substantial profit margin. Felt used, probably wouldn’t sell to them again. Photo attached of the bin of items they bought which I requested to see and they obliged.

Right when I stepped in, I was greeted by the prettiest girl named Kaylee who smiled and welcomed me in. I felt super comfortable shopping around as I was on a hunt for a new wardrobe. Everything was super neat and organized. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and didn’t even need to ask for help because Kaylee helped me pick out outfits that would fit my style. The environment felt super inviting and I instantly felt in love with this store. I ended up leaving with a lot of outfits and am so excited to style them! I can’t wait to come back and look for more fits for the summer!

Unbelievable rip off. Took them $5000 worth dollars of clothes and shoes and they offered me $56 dollars. They say they will give you 30% of the value but in reality it is more like 1%! And if you donate, what they decide they don’t want to sell you also get about 1 penny on the dollar. Better off to give them to Goodwill or Salvation Army and take the $500 deduction. No good reason to take your stuff here unless you just want to help them make a bunch of money at your expense!

Talk about good sales and quality once u walk in this location. This store is so clean and the atmosphere is so nice. I can spend hours in here especially because the staff is so attentive and helpful. Xavier knows fashion and his customer service is top tier! Keep up the good work and keep posting them fashion videos.

Real nice peeps here, and an incredible selection of goods. The AC was cranked up real high, which was excellent on a hot Texas day. Easy to sell my things, much nicer than Buffalo Exchange. Hard to resist buying more things, the array was so dazzling.all the .

I called on a Sunday to ask how long is the wait before I exchange some clothes. So I ubered there with a basket worth of clothes and 2 pair of shoes. Keep in mind the clothes and shoes that I had were barely used. They just to small. There were about 7 pair of solid jeans from Levis, Valabasas, and Pac-Sun. I had a nice Robert Graham shirt that I never worn. They told me it would be an hour wait. However, I turned the items in at 3:21PM, called multiple times, they consistently said they were waiting on corporate feedback. I went back in at 6:35 PM & the items were literally in the same spot! Didn’t even look like they checked! I hate to play the race card but I dont know. Somehow, they had denied everything! The shoes I had were a pair of solid condition Concord Retro 11s and Balenciaga Track Sneakers. I asked the lady why all of my items were denied, she said she had no clue why, and recommended I went to another location. I wasted 3 whole hours for nothing and everything I had was in almost new condition. ZERO stars! Items are overpriced and used and the customer service is piss poor. EVERYONE is NOT treated EQUALLY♂️. Highly disappointed and the location in Frisco operates alot better and more efficient! Hate to be this guy but I rather provide a honest review than express my anger in a public setting. Not to mention they almost tackled a woman touching a designer purse that she was interested in purchasing! NEVER going back there again! Highly disappointed.

I shop here when I come to Dallas about every 6 weeks. I am very methodical and usually pick out 8-10 things to try on. Then the havoc begins. Two of the staff who have served me have been great. The rest? Kick ‘em to the curb!!
The staff typically do not notice that you need a dressing room until you hunt them down. Because the dressing room limit is 5, if you have more than that, you have to hang them on an outside rack.
There is NEVER a designated hold rack for trying on (how is that even possible in a clothing store?) and I always have to ask—is it okay if I hang the rest of my selections here?
Problem is, the zombies who work here RETURN THOSE (still-to-be-tried-on selections) BACK TO THE FLOOR while you’re trying on the others. (I never take long trying on so that can’t be the issue.)
This has happened every.single.time I’ve shopped here! Because I don’t think it’s possible to be that inattentive, I’m beginning to think it’s deliberate.
I shouldn’t be surprised—in my experience, 90% of the staff pays ZERO attention to shoppers—they reply to questions in monosyllables and seem drugged/hungover/anti-social. It’s shocking how unengaged in their jobs they are.
When I decide to buy an item I’ve tried on, I take the item off the hanger, hand it to the clerk behind the counter and ask them to please hold it until
I’m finished because I’m going to buy it. (Exact words)
That’s when this happens: My selections literally get tossed on a counter behind the register and routinely get jumbled with other items—whose I don’t know because I was practically the lone shopper in the store tonight.
When I wanted to check out tonight, I had to remind the staff (who gave me utterly blank looks) that I had items on hold and I had to point them out underneath sloppy piles of other garments.
Because of this perpetual disorganization, what has happened twice now is that I have gotten home, 2+ hours’ drive away, without an item I intended to buy. Because it went missing in a pile of other clothes!
At this point I am just plain PISSED OFF. While I like the selection and prices of 2nd Street, I can’t put up with the obscenely uncaring mismanagement by the staff—most of whom act like they would walk right over your body if you fell to the floor while shopping—they simply wouldn’t notice or care.
It’s back to old faithful Buffalo Exchange—where the staff is attentive and focused—for me!
