I absolutely love, love, love this store!!! A friend introduced me to this place and the family who own and run it. My expectations were blown out of the water!!! I quickly discovered that they have an eye for timeless investments! Crystal, sterling silver, authentic furniture from Italy, Sweden and an entire catalog of any gadget from Walmart (less than 50%). This is where I’m going to furnish my new apartment, Christmas presents, birthday, Mother’s Day etc! You should see my place!

Valarie’s Thrift shop It’s simply the best in its kind. I have been thrifting for over 40 years. I consider myself a connoisseur of thrift/boutique shops. I have an extensive repertoire of boutique shops and thrift stores. Valerie’s is at the top of my list. Valerie’s gift shop is the perfect hybrid of both thrift boutique and thrift shop. Valerie’s is a family owned business. Valarie and her siblings are taking ownership of what their parents legacy to them. They have one of the best collection of items from household goods to fine jewelry. The price is always reasonable. You can bargain with them, however, their starting price is close to the best asking price. They will say “no” if you try to lowball them. I have noticed that loyalty to their family business is rewarded. My frequent visits have some times made the difference in me obtaining the items I really want at the price they charge. Cash is still king at Valarie‘s, however, they are prepared for every kind of electronic transaction that you can offer. I visit annually to pick up that just write special Valentines jewelry for my wife and daughter. I’ve never come up short at Valerie ‘s. Valarie thrift shop is very well organized so that you can browse through freely. Set aside time to comb through the treasures I’m sure you will come out with your particular treasure. I highly recommend Valerie’s thrift store for your next thrifting adventure.

Valerie’s is a small place but packed with lots of interesting finds. I love that it’s family owned and operated—they are super nice and happy to answer questions or negotiate within reason. I do wish the items had price tags on them but it’s not a big deal for me to have to ask if I find something I like. I found one of my favorite paintings here that same day my friend found an Our Place pan. I have always enjoy looking around since then!

Small but packed Thrifting experience. Pros ... it's a mom and pop type shop ( mom and kids) it has and abundance of stock. The people are friendly. Cons packed in a dangerous fashion and dirty. I actually really like the shop but would encourage them to reorganize stock so it is more accessible and less of a liability to themselves as well as customers. Lastly it would be nice to have some things or more things priced. I do hate continually asking for prices and feeling is subjective to my person and not general price points. Of course negotiation is fun but within reason in both directions.
I will definitely visit again.

I will not be returning to this shop spending with these people, the son and daughter follow you around the store watching you like a hawk. Always speaking in Spanish to each other as if they don't want blks in their store. They want you money lol but not your business, id rather give my money to the goodwill. This family is very racist well u would think how could they be racist coming from where they come from lol. The prices are way over priced basically sells trash. The mother is always angry and over pricing things

Purchased a beautiful pair of nightstands here that were in marvelous condition. Fair prices. The owner was very nice and helpful. Looking forward to a future visit as it looks like there are many interesting things there.

Whoever gives this place good reviews is beyond me. This place is dirty, unorganized, nothing is hung up, you seriously have to dig through garbage, have things FALL on you (potentially dangerous?) and then you’re told that a pair of used leather cowboy boots are $30. A jean jacket for $20. So after digging through garbage, bugs, etc. - the prices are that of a nice, resale consignment store. Save your time and don’t go here. I’m so bummed.

They have some cool stuff but nothing has a price tag on it. I saw a used clothes iron, not a name brand, and asked how much. The man behind the counter said $15. I said good-bye and will not be going back. Either he didn't want my business or doesn't know his and I don't have time to figure it out.
