for replace ssn
That was so quick! No appointment needed! You just walk in, get a number from the self-service machine, and in less than two minutes, your number is called. The service at the counter was also very fast, and I was out of there in under five minutes.

Went on a Wednesday at 1:30pm as a walk-in. Busy, but wasn’t too bad of a wait! Typical for a govt agency building. Staff was accommodating and friendly! You don’t need to make an appt, and you check yourself in at a self-service kiosk.

This place is horrible . Literally 4 people waiting and they basically just hanging out taking one person every 20-30 min. Finally called me after being 3rd to get in the place and they tell me I have to wait for next staff to call me because his swipe machine don’t work so he wouldn’t be able to charge me . I go back to sit and everyone else behind me is called other staff instead while I was there before them. They have to do better

It was definitely the most terrible experience ever in my 6-year life this country. The first agent in the window was extremely rude. He told me nothing useful, dropped me a receipt and just rudely stopped the conversation and let me go away. I tried to rejoin the lane and meet another agent immediately after that, and this guy is even worse. He rudely stopped all the questions, ignoring the fact that I have waited 5 months for my ssn and yelled at me that “it’s not our fault that you didn’t get your ssn for 5 months. I don’t care. You have to be patient and there are 400 people waiting in the lobby” even if there were only 10 people there and I have wasted my whole afternoon in that horrible place. All the people are busy, but ssn is so important to me that I would possibly lose my job and even my identity in the country. Their attitudes made me feel to be humiliated. It is so easy to say “sorry your previous application 5 months ago was not successful and we didn’t tell you that. Please wait for another couple weeks and we’ll try our best to get your ssn ready” rather than yelling and trying everything rudely to stop the conversation.

Based on the fact that there are so many high scores here, I highly doubt the agents here are racist targeting Asian. You have to change. You are destroying the reputation of the government.

I love it here i always come here for when i lose my social security. They are so nice and quick here. You come in and out. The bathrooms are very clean and they have a changing table for the kids. The security are very helpful and fast. The lady that called me listen to me and made me feel welcome. She was very nice. I filled the application right there in like 2 seconds. You have to bring a picture id. I gave my state id. They have elevators. The a train is nearby like in the same block.

Terrible experience. Guy at window #10 was so condescending & rude. I do not appreciate being talked to like I’m a child. He thought sighing, making rude expressions, and telling me “Ok pay attention, I’m going to say this one more time” was okay? The announcements are going off every minute on my side, maybe try speaking up and being a decent human being.

Went at 2pm on a Friday, waited 10mins and name update was done very quickly. There was a white lady yelling at the person behind the window for the entire 15minutes i was there- don’t be like her.
