I brought my Chevy in for an alignment after doing a lower control arm because that is always recommended. I left with a crooked steering wheel. I brought the car back to have the steering wheel straightened out and it is still crooked after the second try. I've watched mechanics adjust tie rods to make a steering wheel level, it's not rocket science. They don't check their own work or they don't care. I also noticed as I was pulling off that my mpg had dropped from 33 to 28 and I was also missing 1/8 tank of gas. I didn't think the car had to run that much for a simple alignment fix. If they can't even get an alignment right I wouldn't come back for anything more complicated.

I was driving from North Carolina to Detroit and my engine light came on. I was visiting family and looked you guys up. I had a chance to meet the owner and some of the staff. Fixed my issue and did not over charge me. I appreciate good quality work and honesty. Thank you for everything. Differently the best place to get service on your vehicle.

Hass and the rest of the staff were very friendly and informative on everything that I needed done on my car. I came in with only 2 days to spare before I went on a trip and they took care of my car’s alignment and additional repairs I needed to make sure I was road trip ready. The pricing at this shop is very fair and I cannot recommend them enough!

This is the Best shop in the area. I'm sure there are other ok shops but every time I take my cars to Friends I am well taken care of. Great prices and great service. 10/10 recommend.

I had a problem with my fuel pump and fuel lines on my 08 jeep. They charged me $300 just to drop the tank alone and said if they would to continue fixing it it would be $800-$1000 for them to fix it after they already dropped my tank. So now I have to pay them $300 for a truck they didn’t fix it all, just for me to take it to a shop in Detroit and they charged me $375 to change my fuel lines and fuel pump. Now my car is good as new. Don’t come here, they are liars and scammers they don’t deserve 4 stars. I paid $375 to get my car fixed after these bums charged me $800-$1000 to fix my car and $300 for not fixing anything, just dropping my tank. They suck. They are not honest. They have no integrity. They are not men. Just scamming bums.

I have been going to Friends Auto since 2009, and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed....EVER. PERIOD. I remember the day when I first came. I was driving a 1999 Chevy Malibu. They kept that car running for me like no one else could. Ned (retired) and John are the best there is. They have always given me low price quotes, and if the job still required a hefty price, they would do what they could to bring the price down a little. I have referred others to this place because that's how confident I am in their services. In addition, their customer service is superior! They have always treated me and my children with the utmost respect. It is a warm atmospheric type auto repair shop, and not too long ago, they set up a coffee and cold water station for their guests. I highly recommend Friends Auto for all of your auto needs.

So today, I was referred to this shop by Discount Tire because a lug nut of mine broke off. I spoke with a guy over the phone & brought my vehicle up there. He told me it would be ready on Monday. Not even a whole hour later I received a call back saying my truck would be ready within 15 mins! Thanks to Alex for doing the necessary research & performing the maintenance to where I was able to get my truck back same day! This is a cool shop, with friendly workers who got the job done in a timely manner! I would recommend them & will be back in the future for any other needed repairs! Thanks guys! 🙂
