Let me edit my review in response to the ridiculousness. 1st and foremost as reviewers will see I didn’t get an acceptable response for picking up $ owed which I’m sure most people would appreciate to why the time frame to pick up is during business hours when most people work which is M-F 8-5 with lunch 12-1.
That’s just not acceptable.
2nd The owner either, didn’t listen to her customer because she’s busy having her child -8 yr old I believe she said- run the register ( SHE ABSOLUTELY SAID) ok child labor-, she put words in my mouth or she lied. I told her I brought name brand items such as Ralph Lauren polo etc, clean & on hangers BEFORE we had the yard sale. I mean common sense would tell you that you’d get more money for such items at a resale shop over a yard sale but maybe not this place.
She also told me she remembered meeting my mother in the parking lot after her employee sent her on her way because it wasn’t a day to accept clothing (that day had changed again by the way) & she came out to catch her, told her clothing looks good & to come back. I’m not gonna go back & forth over this type of communication with an idiot who lies. Much of what I just typed & will type need to go so much more into specifics so review readers will understand but I did try calling back twice to figure out a resolution for picking up my $ during the general public’s work hours but she didn’t answer the phone. Maybe she went on vacation again or just left early to go donate And glad you’re doing extremely well because I’m sure it’s difficult when you have a child running the register & not knowing name brands to know what SELLS or correct verbage. Bless your heart. Also the previous payout was not the same because I moved from there & used to get my check mailed to me & then when that stopped I wasn’t given a two hour window on a one day (workday) a month time frame. Shame on you. You need to figure this out but then again I don’t care because I’ll collect my $ and pass right by this junk store who can barely SELL what they take in. Don’t lose your clothes or money people. Take it where the SALES are in a better location, more frequent & CONSISTENT and the owner isn’t so damned rude

I do not recommend this place as a seller & can’t say I’d even suggest buying here. The business for years has went thru owners & managers like crazy & the new owner is extremely rude & doesn’t even know clothing brand names (her words). She apparently doesn’t know how to run a business much less a resale shop because she hangs up on customers when she’s questioned & she only pays out on certain dates (monthly or longer?) and now it has to be a certain window of time , I was told 10am-12 , a two hour window on that specific date. I mean come on that’s crazy. Not everyone is going to be able to be there during your 2 hour time frame on a work day. Get a grip! What is someone that works a normal job 8-5 with a lunch hour of 12-1? I mean this chick is out there. And by the way they have a policy that if your items don’t sell in whatever time frame they say , they supposedly donate it. Where is it donated to? She has contradicted herself or her workers many times so who knows what she goes by or if she’s going to change it to match her personal schedule including vacation time she just took even though she’s so overrun with clothes & workers that don’t relay her ever changing policy. Trust me, take your things elsewhere or donate yourself because who if you’re getting the money you should be for your clothes, the brands they are worth or if they are being donated too soon or to someone’s home? And who knows if people are even shopping there. The place is such a disaster, I’d go to Not too Shabby consignment. They are so kind, the store seems much more put together and they don’t have all these ridiculous, ever changing & unclear rules or policies

I absolutely love this place. The young lady that runs it is so nice. She always is so accommodating and super nice to my son. Never rushes us or shows any kind of irritation when we show up 10 min before close. The items she sells are all very nice and priced affordable.

I was in the area and found this store through their Facebook page. The staff was helpful and patient and they shipped my purchases to my home, as my circumstances would not permit an in store pick up. I live a couple of hours away, but love the Outfit(s) of the Day and the Live Feeds. You do not have to live in Stephenville to be a customer of this wonderful shop! Great prices and reasonable shipping costs!

I ALWAYS have a good time in this store. I Love the owners there.. the whole family is just so kind. You find fantastic deals and you also just get to have a lift of spirits from your visit there.. even if you find nothing. (IMPOSSIBLE) 😀 even if you don't though... you got out of the HOUSE.. and you WENT and just relaxed going thru clothing that is not WORN and OLD. but instead. is nice and still FULL Of chances to wear for a long time.. 🙂 THANKS SECOND TIME AROUND!

It's a pleasant place good atmosphere it's clean it's neat well maintained people are very nice that work there I recommend anyone to go in there I always come out smiling they're always helpful go and enjoy it's nice to get out somewhere and not have to pay full price like to do with the other stores they always have a good sale

Ruby jones is very rude and seemed to be under the influence, items were dirty, entire store smelled horribly of sewage. Never will be back. Shop at other REAL local stores. When I asked about a shirt he boyfriend stepped in being very rude (and breathing his beer breathe) and told me if I didn’t like it to leave.
