Good mens selection! Good selection of sizes up to pant size 40, I didn't take too hard of a look at the shirts. Good selection of jackets as well! Most clothes were priced anywhere from 3-15 dollars.

It's pretty packed, but I'd rather have a full selection than a thin one! And getting through the checkout was easy and quick. Convenient placement too for those who take the brown line.

Price jacking here is INSANE. I noticed that this location specifically not only has expensive items but a lot of NO tag items which they refuse to sell, even items that are just $5 or less. I think this is ridiculous if they want to make sales. Go to the one in Roscoe village or bucktown. Super friendly associates and always willing to help, even with no tag items.

Worker and manager are not so helpful. a lady got her bag stolen out of her cart and she’s crying and asking for help. they not doing anything to help her. they walk around like nothing happened. They could have ask her information just incase her purses is found somewhere. and they could call a police for her. Check there camera for her but they did nothing to help her. felt so bad for the lady I was trying to talk to her but she does not speak English I wish I could speak Spanish for her and I offer to give her money to get her home but she said no. She walk out crying ? the store are not doing anything this place suck. I mean I know they could not do anything about it but they could make a report but they just let her stand and cry they walk around they not even busy. manager need more management training.

Unfortunately, this location is not great.

Prices have gotten really out of hand, with some items charging more than their original worth at TJ Maxx, or on poshmark.

Example: pair of old gym shorts with broken elasticity = $13.

Several sections are really dirty, including around houseware and miscellaneous items on the east side of the store.

Recommend going over to unique thrift store instead.

This location is beyond annoying. They close at 9, but starting 45 minutes before close time, employees blast extremely loud "We are closing" announcements through the store every 5 minutes. They are so determined to have EVERYONE out EXACTLY AT 9 and will kick you out of the aisles at 8:55. Employees at the cash register do not even bag your stuff. They just throw it in a pile and hand you a plastic bag. Rude, annoying, and unprofessional. Can't express how much I hate this location. If I could give -1 stars I would. I will never be back. Do not go to this Village Discount location.

They treat you like you’re stealing anyways so may as well help yourself ? Plus they were charging like $300 for a rug so if you don’t watch out they’ll rob you first.

BED BUG INFESTED

Please please do not shop here if you’re terrified of running into one of the worse infestations that is bed bugs. Shopped here exactly last week (06/26) and got a pair of rollerblades … that same night I felt itchy but didn’t act until the next morning. Ended this week (06/30) with having to trash my bed. Be aware!!
