NEW LOCATION! I haven’t been in years and parked near the old location and once the buses moved on - I was surprised that they were not there. I love this thrift store so much. Many buried treasures.

Selection seems a little better in newer location. Prices are a little higher. Little disappointed that the huge music display in the front window was not for sale. Not sure why any store would bait and switch ? Homeless bums not being in front is a plus

Experience Goods is the type of store you visit to discover. There is a certain order to everything but you never know from one visit to the next what you will find. I like to "dig" around in there just to see if I can find some treasure. I have been lucky a few times but most of the time I find some interesting book. It's worth a visit even if you don't plan to buy anything.

Best thrift store for clothes, home goods, shoes, and paperbacks. A Brattleboro treasure
4 years later, after they've moved and a Goodwill has come to town, this is still BY FAR the best thrift store in Brattleboro. If you think their prices are high, check Goodwill's! EG actually helps the community as well so I feel really good about shopping here. I'm not kidding when I say about 90% of my wardrobe is from Experienced Goods!

This is a great store not only for the quality of products that they offer, but also for what happens to the money they earn from them. A store that works because of the many quality items donated to them by everyone here in windham county and beyond. Everyone that works here seems to go out of there way to help customers. The money they earn here helps fund the Hospice Organization. Not to mention the jobs added to our town. I highly recommend everyone to experience Experience Goods.

Getting into the store was a bit challenging because of the homeless people that were swearing outside and gathering at the nearby parking garage! Once inside I was confronted with two tiny little boys who had lost their parents and that was frightening not just for them but for me too. None of this stuff seem too concerned about it and yet the door was very close to where they could have left or someone could have taken them. The variety of items that they have is minimalized. They have a fair amount of clothes but it's so compact that it's almost impossible to stay six feet away from someone else in compliance with covid and I didn't see masks being worn by everyone. ?
