One of the best thrift stores in WNC! Remnants is a warm welcoming space, full of VERY affordable clothing and fabric. Creativity is abound as soon as you walk through the door! One of my favorite things they do is their curated mystery bags, the topics they choose always make me smile 🙂

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The prices for the clothing are better than you will find anywhere in the area. The staff is super friendly as well. Not only can you find great clothes, they also have fabrics and and offer classes regarding all kinds of sewing techniques!

Remnants is a great addition to Mad Co. I wandered in one afternoon and left with 4 large bags full of clothes to screenprint and upcycle, for way better prices than you could find at Goodwill or another shop. The owner (i think?) was very cool and let me look through some bags of unwanted donations to see if there was anything I wanted! I also love the classes and space offered. It’s nice to be able to be in a space without spending lots of money and work on sewing skills! They have free fabric, buttons, etc that you can use while there. I hope Remnants is around for a long while!

I can’t say enough good things about Remnants! The thrift store prices are a fraction of other places. I’ve gotten so many pieces of fabric from their free sections for craft projects. They’re always open to helping you problem solve a craft project. Also there’s a ton of free or low cost classes to do each week.

This place is amazing! It’s clean, organized, affordable and full of quality goods! I love their community minded model of accessible sewing classes, fun curated grab bags, and the wit and humor of their Instagram posts. Definitely worth a visit and the best thrift store in Madison county!

Fantastic selection! Half the price of what's being sold at corporate stores, but the quality of the clothes is near new! Spacious dressing room, and a lot of unique pieces available. I've been thrifting for around a decade, and this is the largest, AND BEST haul I've had in years. I even bought a tote bag that one of the owners made themselves. This is the kind of place that reminds me just how good thrifting can be, and the owners really care about what they do.
