The Hospice resale store is a nice gem for used material. I respect the mission and values, and why they are in business. Pricing is easily marked and affordable. The store is pretty well layed out and kept as organized as possible. Staff are friendly and help out. Parking is a bit awkward but plenty available.

Brought my 3 year old daughter with me to get some things. My daughter had to use the bathroom (she is potty training) I told a women who worked there that my daughter is potty training and has to go and asked if we could use the bathroom. The lady said no and my daughter had an accident on the floor right then and there. I told the man on the counter and he wasn't too happy with it.

This store is a treasure chest of gently used and secondhand items. You never know what you may find. From clothing to household items to lovely costume jewelry - the possibilities are endless. When my daughter needed items for her college apartment, we found lamps, flatware, cookware and glasses. I was also able to get a very nice power lift recliner for my 92 year-old father at a great price. Not only do I find great deals here, but I happily support Carolina Caring. We have an excellent Hospice in Catawba County and we should all be thankful for that. I am a volunteer for Hospice and spend many hours at this store. I can tell you the manager, employees and volunteers are incredibly dedicated to supporting the Hospice mission and work so hard to make this store a success.

I like to shop here. Some items are more affordable than others. The man who works the front is always friendly and greets us. I agree with some post on certain prices being far to expensive for used items. Clothes run about the same as Goodwill. I saw some Dean Koontz books (older mostly 90's) $5 bucks each. That's far to expensive. Goodwill charges $2.49 for those same hardback books. I have purchased some furniture at decent prices and some home goods. I respectfully understand their mission as my father passed in hospice care. Sometimes you can get health related items for elderly in need at good prices. Sometimes health care items are hard to find but if they have them they are typically affordable. Some basic generic everyday items like pictures, nicknacks are not necessarily good buys. Rarely do I find anything of good value like antiques here. I was told they sell them on Ebay. So, that's kind of a bummer especially if you like to treasure hunt. Just browse through see if there's anything you can use. Sometimes I buy things other times not so much.
