Love all the books and other items you can find in here. Usually, decently priced too. Don't really get too much back for trading in even in store credit, but a lot of trade in places are like that. Plus, it's better than getting nothing in return. I also, like that the credit last forever so you don't have to be in a rush to use it if you are busy the day you trade in. The kids love it too.

I love it here they always have the best and most unique items! Staff is super friendly. We often like to go here just to walk around and window shop. 10/10

This place was much larger than I expected. The only section I was interested in was a bit scattered and clustered with no sense of being sorted.

They had an absolute massive selection and I would say the prices were very low. If someone is really into reading, this is your place!

This a fabulous store for people who love books. There are so many types of books there that anyone could find a book that they would love. I can’t wait to go back!

Just went in for Penny a Page sale. Line was the whole way to the back of the store and only a few cashiers each transaction taking 5+ minutes. There was a guy at the door asking if we knew about the sale though! Decided to leave. Didn’t have an hour or more to stand in line after looking for books because the way they organize the books makes it very difficult to find what you may be looking for. Each time I’ve taken books back I get less than $1 back per book. Used to be a great place to go but all the new stuff they have instead of the initial second hand items when they first opened has increased the prices and made buyback pretty much a joke.

Felt like a kid again, games, vinyl records, cds, comic books, tons of books, musical instruments, and so much more. Got a few hard bound Louis Lamour cowboy classic books. Be back for more when Im at Hagerstown

Great prices on a lot of stuff, and a large selection of books and kids toys you might not find elsewhere. Used book prices are very good, and it's easy to walk out with more books than you expected to buy.

I mainly go here to check out the used video games. Used video game prices are generally very good and cheaper than you would find at a video game store. Occasionally certain games might be a little overpriced, but probably still lower in general. You can find games from pretty much any system, from Atari and Colecovision all the way up to PS5 and Xbox Series.

Not thrilled.

Every time we go to a 2nd and Charles, they make up a new rule for us to follow that may or may not be on their website.

Today, our family went to spend the rest of our store credit, because we are moving out of the area. My wife is sick, and not able to be with us, but I had her ID with me, to get the attached store credit.

Imagine our surprise, when the cashier demanded that my sick wife be present, because of some pawn shop law they could not prove. I had her ID, and offered to Facebook Chat with her, and explained the situation, but neither the cashier or manager on duty cared. Literally, they were as apathetic as anything.

So, we did not get all of what we tried to buy.

To say the least, I was frustrated, because my kids went without.

To add to this review, this place tries to sell used items at close to retail, instead of at a reasonable price. They sell new items at more than you can buy them for on Ebay or Amazon.

The only draw is selling books to them, and we would about rather go to Wonder Book.
