Initially discouraged from selling here after reading negative reviews, but gave it a chance and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and squeezed me on busy night of both buying and selling. I appreciated them listing out all the items they bought when I picked up, felt things were fairly priced, and found a great dress to get on credit! My only note from a shopping standpoint is the layout is strange: it creates a clunky flow of people. The low level racks are awkward to look through, and I always wish there was more quantity.

After reading all the reviews I definitely know my feelings are absolutely valid. I brought several bags to sell at this beacons closet location and after waiting 1 hr they told me they couldn't buy any of my items because it is out of season and they are buying for fall. Even though some of my items were fall items and you could tell they barely went through the bags some of the clothes were untouched and still folded. When asking them about not buying any of my items the employee barely answered me and seemed annoyed. I will definitely not be selling my clothes with beacons closet ever again.

Horrible experience selling clothes and shopping here. I brought in two big bags with name brand clothes purchased in the last two years (Rag and Bone, Reformation, Ted Baker, etc). They offered me $4.25 for a brand new with tags J Crew button down and that’s it. Very rude and cold salespeople. Most of the clothes for sale are damaged, stretched out, or outdated. Plus, the store is crowded with body-to-body people clawing through the racks. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

Took a whole bag of clothes and shoes, had to wait 45 minutes to be told that she couldn’t find anything to sell. An item in that bag I had literally bought from that exact store. I had Adidas, Nike, Levi’s stuff in there so don’t know how they couldn’t find a single thing. Felt like the women was very grumpy! They sell some good stuff but their buying situation is terrible

It’s both shocking and hilarious how rude the staff who work here are. I’ve come here for years and none of them have ever so much as smiled at me when I talk to them or ask a question. They just bark orders at you and act like you are disturbing them if you so much as look their way. The management is either like this themselves or they need to do a major humility check with the whole staff.

This store has a few good things but most is trash, they a very predudice in this store. I have took so many things there to sell and they NEVER bought not 1 item from me.The sales clerks mostly speak to each other they have no CUSTOMER service skills. They only care about their co-workers and maybe a few Caucasian shoppers

I’m glad other reviews reflect what I experienced staff is very rude disrespectful and cold did not give a lot of information as to what the criteria was for a clothes being selected they said skirts and dresses which is what I had I didn’t receive any offers and I had a whole laundry bag full of clothes. Quite a few of them were good quality, never worn, with the tag still on them and yet they said no offer. they said I could donate so I donated my clothes instead but I know that they were good quality, avoid the PARK SLOPE location
