I’m an Aussie visiting US atm, and this is the mist reasonably priced/quality thrift store i’ve come across so far (I have also visited LA and NYC.)

The store is neat, with clothes organised by garment type and size.

Heaps of spacious changerooms and friendly staff ?

Really great buffalo, likely due to the influx of new people moving into the city. A decent sized store with about 6 fitting rooms. There is paid street parking around the building but there’s also a covered parking garage behind the buffalo that offers 1-2 hour free parking (which is usually enough for me to go in sell my items, browse, try on and make any purchases.) This Buffalo Exchange tends get some higher value items such as designer bags and clothes. I’ve purchased a vintage Fendi crossbody bag for $100 that’s reselling for closer to $400 online. I’ve also seen clothing items from Jenni Kayne, Retrofete, Louis Vuitton bags and shoes. These items are kept behind the sales counter but are on display. As for the clothes and shoes on the floor they have a good mix of styles in the women’s selection.

I had a great experience at Buffalo Exchange yesterday, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Cameron. She was incredibly attentive and seemed like she really liked her job. Her friendly demeanor and genuine interest in customer satisfaction created a truly enjoyable shopping experience. Give the girl a raise!

They make you feel like a thief,consistent questioning. They get your i.d. upon agreeing to sell, very suspicious people. We are retired and wanted to possibly get some extra cash. Not worth the targeted police style questioning

They targeted my wife much more . She has an a european accent. Not a customer friendly experience.

My daughter brought in several bags of clothing items several items were vintage plus a pair of Nikes worn one time and you people gave for $11.00 for everything! Shame on you! I promise I will give nothing but negative feedback until this is resolved. Greedy that’s what this place is, I want my items back and believe me I know what they are!

My experience with Buffalo Exchange today was “meh”. I will not be coming back to try to sell any of my clothes in the future.

I initially walked into the cluttered store and walked to the Sell counter. As my first time, I did not know I needed to fill out a form from a QR code to place myself in line. I asked if I could temporarily place my clothes (that were nicely all on hangers) on the unoccupied counter for 10 seconds to scan the QR code since my hands were full. I was told “no” and to move to the crowded chairs on the side. The chair placement is very awkward for anyone trying to walk in the path.

I brought in 10 items on hangers that were appropriate for fall and winter weather (timing is important or at least I thought). The staff member reviewed the items very quickly (too quickly), and to me, it appeared not much thought was put into her review of the items. I did not get an offer on a single item to my surprise. Confusing but whatever, even though 3 items had never been worn; and the others were gently used with absolutely no stains or threading issues. To note, one of my items is a Calvin Klein brown puffy long jacket.

Given my confusion, I then asked…. I understand you do not want this clothing; but can you tell what exactly you are looking for….? The response was only graphic tees and very puffy, long length jackets. These particular items were not what was listed on your website prior to coming, and this seemed to be wayyyyy too particular for a thrift/consignment store. Altogether, it was a huge waste of time.

Wonderful store if you like Old Clothing that are in decent shape. I will go here again. To me the staff was very friendly and wonderful.

Great store. It would be more ideal if they labeled themselves that aligned themselves with Plato’s closet because many of the pieces are around $30 which is unlike many other thrift stores and almost rivals the prices of things such as target, TJmaxx, Marshall’s but everything is used with a more of an alternative style. Pretty far from general mainstream
