I've been shopping at this HEB for a while now, and while I was initially excited to see it undergoing a remodel, the process was pretty frustrating. During the remodel, it felt like a game of chance every time I visited, never knowing what products would be out of stock or rearranged.

Unfortunately, even now that the remodel is complete, there are still major issues. During my visit yesterday, October 31st , I found multiple items that were well past their expiration date. That’s pretty concerning, especially for a newly revamped store. And to top it off, there were still no shopping carts available. For such a large location, it's baffling that they can't keep enough carts on hand.

The one positive is that they now carry more vegan options. While I’m not vegan myself, it’s great to see some expanded choices for those who are.

Overall, I was hoping for a better shopping experience post-remodel, but it feels like they still have some work to do.

It’s time to call out this HEB. Prices went up, items got smaller, but what has suffered is the quality HEB is known for. I ordered some beef shanks because they are the cheapest fatty meat to buy. Well, I picked up my groceries and when I got home I was surprised my shanks were pretty much just fat. What the heck HEB! Another time I went to buy their beef cheese crispy burritos and eggrolls. OMG , they were soggy awful. I did complain to the worker behind the rotisserie counter and he said talk to corporate, they refuse to buy us a deep fryer. Hmmm, you’re billionaires. What the heck! Sacrificing on quality will catch up to you Butte Family.

I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t so packed all the time. Not to mention, we have started to do curbside because of this reason, and 90% of the time there is always 2 to 3 of our items out of stock. Sometimes up 5 or more of our items. And now on Sundays there is no chance to place your order early in the morning, even if you wake up to place your order at 4 in the morning.But HEB is struggling from success imo. Otherwise it’s a really good HEB . What you would come to expect from any HEB .

After opening the mesquite rotisserie chicken from its plastic container, it almost hopped out on one leg. It was undercooked to me and it was missing one piece of the end of the chicken wing. As a previous rotisserie cook, it seems the cook time was less or the cook oven was under the temperature required. Next time I'll wait for the evening shift before I think of purchasing another one. Also, I'm not sure how mesquite chicken should taste, but I'll just purchase the regular or the lemon pepper.

Yolanda, the cafe manager, was so helpful and kind. I didn't realize that the cafe was closed but she went out of her way to help me. She was obviously steeped in tons of work. Thank you so much! Now I won't have to wake up early before work! I appreciate you.

I mostly pick up groceries curbside, and they generally do a great job, but I have one issue with the way the groceries are packed. A couple of times now, including this morning, they stood a loaf of bread on end in a paper bag full of canned goods, so by the time I got home the bread was crushed. It doesn't make sense, when so many items are packed separately in plastic bags, to pack bread this way. I called curbside, and she said she'd talk to the shopper, but this is something they should all be trained better about.

I ordered a lb of Boar's Head yellow american cheese. Got home and opened it to make a sandwich. ? what i got. Really?

I ordered their BBQ for my birthday on 9/14 and it was better than I could’ve expected! Marissa went above and beyond to ensure we had a wide variety of well cooked meats, from brisket to turkey and sausage. The sides were fresh and flavorful, everything was amazing. It was some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a very long time! I will definitely be recommending it to everyone!
