DON’T EVER THINK ABOUT GOING TO THIS PLACE! This old lady screamed at my sick mother. I can tolerate many things but that’s an exception. I just can’t believe this place is still in service. Awful customer service. You can’t touch anything without being screamed out. Helping hands ? Seriously? This place should be named “YELLING AT CUSTOMERS “ ?

I enjoy a real thrift store where the owner isn't a millionaire and there's some random treasures. I have been shopping here off and on for years as well as all the other local thrift stores and I always donate to helping hands because I believe this little gem is exactly what a thrift store should be. I also have never been screamed at by any staff!!! Keep up the good work!

Horrible and rude customer service. I witnessed a worker yelling at a black mom and her kids today for absolutely no reason. The kids were well behaved and well mannered. As a white woman this saddened my heart. Save your money and don’t go here…

I started purging my home and wanted my unused items to have a purpose. Not just upsell for profit or tossed away.

This place is not fancy by any means, yes it is hot, and maybe not so personable. The ladies are older, and I see a lot of complaints about them being rude.
I would find it a struggle to spend years in a sweltering, hot building giving up all my time to deal with so many different types of people.

Years ago, I was having a rough time and this place was a big help by providing a much needed carseat and formal dresses for my kids school event for only $1. That moment has stuck with me several years later.

I have shopped at Goodwill and seen the insane mark up of second hand items. I do enjoy browsing and sometimes find great deals.

It is heartbreaking that many people may not be able to afford essentials at that price. This place is a gem for those less fortunate that need some basic essentials on a very imited income. Our family was one of them.

We have overcame our obstacles and reached a level of stability and comfortability. Now we give back to those less fortunate.

Helping Hands is an example of a thriving organization that helps those less fortunate. Please consider how your donations can help others and impact their lives in ways unimaginable.

We look forward to bringing a truckload to you this week!

Never will go back to this place. It has a stupid rule that you have to have a shopping cart to shop in a place junked up so much you can hardly walk then a very rude old crabby lady barking you can't shop without a cart. This place is a joke.never again and there is alot more friendly places to shop and donate to.

I have gone in here many times and can look past many complaints people have about how dirty it is. I'll put up with a dirty store if it means cheap! However, I will never come back purely for how rude the employees are to customers. Customers are yelled at and threatened to be kicked out for walking under racks to navigate the store- yet there are no signs stating this is not allowed. A woman was kicked out and told to never come back because an employee claimed she saw her 'not hang a shirt back up' (however, I was next to the accused woman the entire time and the employee was nowhere to be seen so she was making this up out of thin air just to kick someone out). "Go, get out and never come back. Never come back. Dont argue with me. Go now."... Definitely don't know what power trip these employees are on but every time I come in here, someone is being yelled at or kicked out and banished for some godforsaken reason. Its almost comical how absurd it can be! Even though I wouldn't be spending much, as it's a dollar store, I will not be spending any amount here and refuse to help the "helping hands" that are treating individuals this poorly.

I absolutely loved this shop!! I filled a box for $20 and it wasn't a small box, it was a banana box!! I found everything on my list and got it for about 1/3 the price I was expecting to pay elsewhere. And I didn't have to make 3 or 4 stops trying to find what I needed. The ladies employed there are so genuine and so helpful. It is quite a nice change from the big warehouse stores.
