It made me extremely sad to hear what I heard when I walked in yesterday , but not surprising. when I walked in yesterday the male staff and the woman from up front where mid conversation about a Stanley mug. The woman had it in her hand and goes to the male “really? 20 dollars
For this mug?” And the guy goes “yeah leave it it’s worth that all day” it’s very clear that there must be some sort of new management or something. The prices since even before Christmas have all been jacked up, and they have nothing of real value anymore in this store. I used to love making a once a week trip here , but I no longer will, either will the girls that come with me sadly. These employees are just jacking up the prices of things so people who want to get deals by thrifting can’t. It’s almost as if they get a commission for jacking up the prices or putting anything worth value in a “silent auction” what people at these thrift stores don’t realize is . They are working at a thrift store, FILLED with DONATIONS. And they do not work for a high end auction house. Havitat is supposed to benefit the community. But explain to me exactly how you’re doing this when you’re willing to jack all the prices up on people?

Mostly overpriced garbage! The dented refrigerators they claim they bought were overpriced and you could get them cheaper delivered free from Lowe's or home Depot making this place a joke. Nobody's going to pay more than $200 for a used refrigerator. Items were either incorrectly priced or not priced at all with staff giving incorrect prices. For example a file cabinet with four drawers said $5 and upon later request they claimed it was $5 per drawer. It was one entire cabinet and they were used without locks. This is why they have so much stuff sitting here for months because they're not willing to take a good hard look at their overpriced junk. The used damaged doors they had were without frames and nobody's going to pay $150 when you can get the same thing at Lowe's with the frame. These should have been priced around 25 to $40 at best. They are literally fleecing the poor! Get a new manager who is in the real world not smoking cr@k thinking they're going to get these prices in a severe depression.

Purchased a corner cabinet/TV stand as I wanted to get rid of a large heavy desk. I looked at this unit twice. It was $60 and you know how money is. I decided if I got a discount on the wheel I'd buy it. So I did, discount made it $48 which was great. Problem? The left lower corner wasn't damaged when I looked at it, and like I said I looked at it twice all around. I get it home and before I even got it out of the truck I noticed the damage on the lower left that wasn't there before. I had already taken everything out of the other desk and had it ready to load. $48 I'll just ask them to talk to their loaders about being more careful moving and loading things. That was it! I didn't expect any more money off or anything like that. What did I get? Attitude from Tabby! She was totally rude and smart mouthed and now I'm on the defense when I hadn't been before. There was nothing friendly nor apologetic- absolute smart mouth and rude! I was shocked. This is the second time I've had something damaged from moving from the sale floor to my truck and the first time I've said anything. After the experience with Tabby today I have no intentions of ever going back. I'll take my donations elsewhere and my money. Tabby rudely insisted the guys moved it on a dolly outside-after she scooted it through the electronics room (for all I know she damaged it before the guys got it). What I do know is the guys came out the far door carrying it- no dolly and carried it to my truck. Watch your purchase and check it for damaged before you let them load it otherwise you get Miss Rude and Illmannered telling you her opinion in a very not nice and no where near professional manner.
Regardless of how it was moved and by whom, it was damaged while being moved to be loaded. Nothing gave Tabby the right to be rude, ill-mannered and unprofessional to me in response of my request that the loaders be more careful with customer purchases.

Prices have gotten out of hand. I get everything is expensive right now but they trying to get retail prices on used stuff they got for free. I also understand they do good stuff with the money but it’s hard to find a good deal there anymore

You can always find a good deal at this store. The staff are really great to answer your questions and get a price if something is not marked. It seems always find something I have never seen before.I love a treasure hunt!

Was going to buy a large desk from them , asked about delivering it , we live on the second floor of a apartment, they will not deliver to second floors, here's the thing , my bf is disabled, and I had recent shoulder surgery. They would not help us get it to the second floor ! Are they not in the business of helping people ? I'm sure we are not the only people that's disabled , try to give them business ... and the discrimination my opinion. We will not be back in their store. So habitat, you lost $100 sale and future business !!!

I love this place. You never know what kind of treasures you may run across. Some prices are extremely low and some prices are extremely high. I suppose whoever prices the items use their best judgment. This place is always crowded so be prepared for lots of people in a confined space. Grab the first parking spot you come across, otherwise, you may end up parking across the street. They definitely need more parking but it is well worth a visit. Fell in love with this pic...had to have it...$5.00...cannot beat that...frame is solid/heavy and just as pretty as the picture.

I traveled to this restore for the first time and was amazed at the volume of products and materials available. With some luck, I landed on wacky Wednesday and was able to pick up the items needed for my older home. Wacky Wednesday will takeoff a small percentage of the total cost. After visiting the front portion, I saw that the back side was huge and found more of what I needed. Ultimately , Dorothy and her staff helped me purchase a big lawnmower. I felt so much better giving them the money, as opposed to a big box store. Great store and nice people!!!
