A couple of months ago I went into the Locust Springs thrift store because I was affected by the hurricane Helene flood and had everything taken from me in my house and my truck included. There was a lovely woman named Gail that worked there and she was so sweet, she allowed me to fill up a bag of clothing and a couple pairs of shoes And she gave me a deep discount. Yesterday I returned to the store. It picked out a couple of Houseware dishes. I was shocked and saddened to find out from the person working there(She had short gray hair) That Gail had recently died of an aneurysm in her brain.😭 she would not give me any sort of discount saying that things were already discounted and I should just accept the price that everyone else is paying. I walked away leaving the items I had chosen feeling very sad and wondering doesn’t she realize or understand what it’s like to be a senior citizen and lose everything? It’s a daunting tiring task of having to go back through and replace or at least try to replace even small things that make up a home, particularly kitchen items. If this is a Christian run operation, all I can say is shame on you as Jesus never would have acted with such indifference. 😞 I went to Habitat for Humanity and they treated me with such grace and dignity and helping me rebuild my home without breaking the bank. Many thanks and gratitude to Habitat for Humanity. They know the meaning of love and humanity, such as in their name. đŸ©·

I've been coming to this place for years and everytime I come in the lady with dark hair "K" is rude towards me. I've always been polite when coming in and brush it off my shoulder but for some reason today K decided to be incredibly rude to me. All I did was pick up a piece a clothing for her to tell me they are priced differently and then proceed to talk to me as if I was stupid and couldn't understand her. She was smirking the whole time and looking at the man next to her as if it were funny (no it wasn't) so i walked out. I did not intend on purchasing a ($5 bag) since i had just walked into the store... You have lost a loyal customer for good K.

Today K lost two loyal customers. I took my daughter there today and she's been very polite everytime she goes there. K treats her poorly everytime we come in for some reason but my daughter loves thrifting there so we still go there that is until today. K stepped over the line with how she treated my daughter and made her cry so don't bother going here unless you feel like being treated like trash.

Disgusting the prices they are charging for donated stuff! I can see them going out of business in the near future! So unfortunate because we used to enjoy coming here and would spend more cause their prices were good (again for donated stuff) but now, it's just totally stressful in these already stressful times. Good luck!

I sweet old lady at the cashier was very sweet and professional. Has alot of books, clothes for babies, young children ,ladies and men clothes plus shoe's. Hat's, backpacks, kitchen accessories, paper back notebooks. I found a great ball cap duck limited in excellent condition. Wearing it now. My Daughter found a good deal on book set . Every time I go to this store, the "lady" (dark hair, short & fat) running it is hateful and mean. Last week when we arrived she was talking about someone spending her money on flowers, very hateful, I had heard enough, so I went to sit in the car while my wife was shopping. My wife went up to the counter with some stuff she had found, & that woman was making disgusted faces and talking about my wife, after my wife had walked away.. I could see her doing it!
Whom ever owns this store needs to get rid of her, she is going to cost you customers. She is NOT a good example of "christian values".
