My mother and I went to donate some items and pulled to the back at 10am, the ladies that were going in rudely using harsh tones said that "donations were not accepted until 10:30". For a company not to accept free stuff and not being flexible combined with their rude nature, I will go else where. I would have hoped they would have accepted the donations and politely asked next time to please come back after 10:30. Not these guys. So I told them I will leave them by the donation area and they can get them later, she then got very upset and said everything will just be thrown away if I left it. Terrible people, please do not go.

P.s. the sign out front literally said "open now" and the donation sign says donation drop off, not donation by appointment.

I really enjoy shopping here, and I come here a few times a week, but some of the women that work at the front counter are pretty rude. One day I heard them trash, talking, my tattoos, and when I enter the store, certain ones will not say hi or thank you for your purchase and for some reason they always ask for my ID even though I come there multiple times a week, and, people in front of me have paid with a debit card the women didn’t ask for the person in front of me ID . I’d definitely consider that discrimination . So yes, Nana‘s house is a great place to shop because the proceeds goes to a great cause but some of the women at the front counter are pretty judgmental, and should probably watch what they say to each other while customers are in there especially if they’re gonna talk trash about people who are coming in there multiple times a week, spending their harder money. Unfortunately, I don’t know their names because they’ve never even spoken to my face they’ve only made snarky remarks behind my back.

My sister comes here a few times a week and enjoys shopping here but feels discriminated against by the employees. My sister has quite an eccentric look with dreadlocks and tattoos. She told me she overheard the employees talking bad about how she looks and her tattoos. She also told me that everytime she goes and pays with a debit card they ask for ID but don’t with other customers. I’ve read the reviews and it seems there’s a lot of complaints about the employees being rude. Just because someone has tattoos does make them a criminal and shame on them for making someone feel judged! This is supposed to be a place support abuse but has bully’s for employees. I will never spend a cent in this store and I’m hopeful my sister won’t be returning either.
