This was by far the friendliest thrift store in town. LOTS of things to look at. Purchased several items. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic thrift store. Huge selection and most of their clothes are very gently used. Yes prices do seem a little higher than other thrift stores but they also have clothes that look new and / or in great condition. They have multiple sales and rewards card. Also the cashier is lovely. Definitely coming back.

They are the most expensive THRIFT store in Greeneville. $20 for a walmart brand tank top. Then they only do once a week viewing for the antiques, don't understand that

I realize that thrift stores have become trendy. I realize that prices in general have risen significantly. I also realize that the money raised here goes to a good cause. However, I have found that the prices at Opportunity House Thrift Store are outrageous. Thrift stores were started to help the needy who could not afford retail prices. Apparently, that is not the case anymore, and this thrift store has followed the trend of high prices. They *used* to have a section with collectibles and antiques. That area is permanently cordoned off. But you can see that there are items in that area. What or who is that for? Let's be honest people. It is a pretty well known fact that the managers or workers at these places will place items that interest them aside. They are not placed out for purchase by the general public. I drive by there on a daily basis, and see items by the donation door, that just never seem to make it to the floor for sale. I can't accuse them of this practice, but I feel there is cause for doubt. I used to donate to Opportunity House, and the items I donated were collectible and/or antiques. I will no longer donate, or purchase from this store. It's just not worth it.

We had a great experience shopping at this store as always the staff was very helpful and friendly we got some great deals. We will definitely return in the near future to see what new treasures they get in for sale

I have lived here for MANY years and have supported this buisness, but NO MORE!! NOT after today feb 17th 2024 1:30 pm female cashier tells me my husband and children that we need to be ashamed of ourselves for asking a price And tells us that if we cant afford it then get out.. that is CRAZY!! WE WILL NOT be back!!! Ever and will NOT refer ANYONE!!!!!

One of the employees was really rude to this homeless couple. They had a dog, and she rudely told them they couldn’t have a dog there. That’s fine, and understandable. But as they were walking out, she rolled down her window and continued to reiterate why they couldn’t be in the store. Then she asked the women if the things she had in her hand were hers. She said “it’s mine.” Dont you know homeless people carry everything with them? The employee insinuated they had stolen. Who knows, but I bet you money it was a case of profiling against the homeless.

Rude as hell. It said on the sign “proceeds to help the homeless.” Yeah right. I was impressed with their selection, but as soon as I saw her being rude to them, I couldn’t justify spending money in there. What a B. I’ll never be back.

I’m not a social justice warrior but the employee’s behavior was really off putting.

I frequently purchase 100s of dollars each time I visit, and have recently noticed prices have gotten a little higher. The firm priced items have went up also. I was happy to spend 100s a month here especially because it goes to a good cause, but I really hope the pricing goes back to the way it was. I shop here over goodwill due to their help going to locals in need, but some of the prices have been more expensive than goodwill lately. I hope prices go back down a little a few dollars on each item helps me to purchase even more and help my community.
