One word: GREEDY. I witnessed a man buying many goods he clearly needed to survive and the cashier told him he was $2 short so he could either put back a reusable water bottle or a small book reading light. They seriously couldn’t give a man in need an item for $2 for free after he already was paying for clothing and kitchen items Remember: these stores get these items for FREE, then claim they’re helping the community by reselling the items to them for “cheap” and using the proceeds to “better” the community. Well this is clearly not the case here. If you can’t give a person in need a two dollar item you are not helping the community at all. By the way, i paid for his item after the cashier clearly didn’t want me to and left. I will never come back here. DO BETTER.

My experience was awful the cashier was very rude and while helping a customer she got loud with them that their card declined. I offered to help the customer cause it clearly showed that the cashier was getting aggravated and she told me ma’am this is not your business and people need to make sure they have money before going shopping because this stuff isn’t free. I’ll never visit or shop there ever again

I can vouch for the excellent book selection of this location. I visit weekly every Wednesday and I ALWAYS find something interesting and affordably priced. When Amazon is asking for $6 +shipping and I can buy it here for $2, how can it not be a bargain?!? I cannot vouch for the other areas as I'm purely an entertainment (book/DVD/CD) thrifter, but I always see other shoppers browsing and buying in the other areas of the store. Spend a lovely hour checking this place out!

I love donating items to this store. The staff is always friendly and they support a good non-religious cause....mental health. They frequently have quirky items and post regularly on their social media account with fun things they get in.

peace river used to be one of my favorite places. I stopped in recently and the prices have up! $4-$8 for a used shirt? I know that it's for a good cause, but i could get new clothes for those prices.

Lots of household products, clothing, and some specialized items that are almost antiques. Household electronics are available as well as art and decorative items for the home. Children's toys and accessories such as strollers are available here. Very friendly staff if you're making a donation there's a rear door with a doorbell for drop off of donations makes it easy to unload your car. Receipts for donations are given upon request.

If you're a patient at PRC, you can ask your clinician for a voucher to spend on clothes and shoes. Vouchers can be given every 6 months, in the amount of $40 for patient and $25 for each dependant child in your household. They have pretty reasonable prices, and I have found some REALLY cool stuff!!
