employee seemed friendly at first, then told me about their no purses/bags in the fitting room "policy." my purse is very small, about 4x6 and small enough to take into sporting events, arenas, etc. i removed my wallet and placed my purse directly beneath the door, clasp facing out, so they could see it and so i could still see it. employee immediately snaps and says it needs to be completely out of the fitting room. i said, "that just feels a little...sketchy." she puts up her hand and says, "i don't recall asking for your opinion." what my jaw drops, she repeats herself, then proceeds to say that her manager said i'm no longer allowed to try anything on and must leave the store lol. kinda seemed like they were upset that i took my wallet out of my purse AND that i wanted visibility of my other personal possessions...i wonder why. ? thankfully i do not frequent this business and am totally fine to never return. have also submitted a complaint to corporate.

We came from out of town and stopped in. This is definitely one of the best Plato’s closet I’ve ever been to. Would drive from out of town again just to shop here. I had an extremely pleasant experience with all of the staff. Their clothing selection is very top notch and diverse as well. I was very happy with my purchase as well as my overall experience at this Plato’s closet.

I went by on Sunday to drop some clothes around 2p. Found out they won't accept clothes in plastic bags. I purchased bins and repacked everything - which took about 45 minutes. Carried in the first bin, retrieved the second and was being helped by a very nice employee. Then out of nowhere another girl says in the most nasty voice, "I'm sorry but we are no longer accepting buys today." I appealed to her because of all the effort I had put in. And she responded again with the most nasty tone and dismissive and unprofessional demeanor, "I'm sorry but we're no longer accepting buys for the day." It was 2 hours before closing, completely arbitrary and I would have just left without responding but she was literally the rudest person I have dealt with in a very long time. The friendly employee offered to help me and in all honesty I said, that would be great, you have been extremely helpful , but she has been a total B." I'm not proud of that, but my goodness, if you hate your job that much - quit. She also told me not to come back - as if I would ever dream of doing so.

Every time I come here it is so ghetto the staff isn't friendly at all. I brought clothes up at 5 and they said they were done buying for the day. Girl. Any other platoes I've been to accepts an hour till close. They also make you leave you bag outside of a dressing room like again. Ghetto. The last time I came I had 3 items in my hands and they act like they have to take it like these are three tank tops calm down. Bad business and clearly bad management. Won't come here again.

The worst experience at a platos and I've been to many platos all over different states. Me and my sister stopped by this place to check it out, right away a employee kept coming and taking all our items to "put up" for us. I wasn't bothered with it all though it was kind of annoying I decided to ignore it and move on. When we were finally ready to try our stuff on mind you this woman put all our clothing in the dressing rooms and had the items ready to be tried on, so she knew what items we had considering we weren't allowed to hold them for longer then 10 seconds. When we get to the dressing room to try on the clothing, the girl goes on to tell us to leave our bags out on the floor outside our doors. I have on a form-fitting top and denim shorts, and my sister a short skirt with a form-fitting top. Our bags are small coach bags. You can't fit anything in them or in our clothes?! Where exactly are we going to be putting all this? You don't trust the people who shop here but expect me to? You want me to put a brand new $500 purse on the dirty floor out in the open? So your used clothing doesn't get stolen? Where exactly are we putting this stuff? Absolutely ridiculous and goofy. Count the items and write it on the door like all platos do. It's absolutely ridiculous to go this out of your way to make someone put their bag with their wallet, keys credit cards, ID, etc. On the disgusting floor outside their dressing room for strangers. I hope you have the money to cover the expenses for any bag or belongings that get stolen from someone.

Coming from out of town and compared to my local Plato’s closet this one is so well organized and there’s a lot to choose from. As soon as i had two items in my hand I was offered to start a dressing room that was waiting for me when i was ready. Amazing selection at a great price. Staff was great and very helpful. They also have a cuteee lululemon rack!

If I could I'd give negative stars! A waste of my time!! I brought in over $300 worth of clothes, all new with tags, and they offered me a WHOLE $6.60. I refuse to even buy from that company now that I know how much they rip people off. They also told me that they don't accept loose items or paper and plastic bags, so I went and spent 10$ on containers, only to be offered that 6$ I lost money, and time, in the end. This place is a joke.
It's the Game Stop of clothing retail.

I went here with my clothes in clothing bags. They told me they don’t accept clothes in plastic bags and that they only accept them in containers lol. I’m not sure why it matters or what the difference is but ok. I went to Walmart to get a container, I must’ve been gone for about 15-20 minutes at most. I went back just for them to tell me that they stopped buying clothes and to call tomorrow because they may not be buying tomorrow. I’m not sure if this is Plato’s policy or the employees, managers whoever is making up rules as they go but they need to communicate better. I wasted money on a container when that could’ve been communicated from the start. They seem like they have a lot going on and all the employees should definitely be on one accord. I won’t be back at this location.
