Seconds Servings of Houston is a dedicated company way to go! My experience was big what a clean neat environment, the program has a focus on creating healthy nurturing efforts, their stride places meaningful helpers right in the source “community”. This platform has an impeccable office top grade all along sharp staff that greets you with high energy everyone there has a huge welcome and gratitude with volunteers this includes the partners associated with the company they’re eager and have a great resource
which keeps us organized and ready to pick up smoothly. Part of what we do centers each one of our lives, humbly an amazing program this isn’t just thriving your putting back into communities with progress making huge differences.

It’s a great organization that saved food that would end up in the dumpster if not for Second Servings. We pick it up and deliver to neighborhood community centers where “pop up” grocery stores distribute it for free to people in need. The food is also distributed to nonprofits in need to feed residents.

I volunteered for Second Servings last week. Every aspect of the scheduling and preparation was very organized. The Organization is transferring unused food to charities that feed the underprivileged. After Hurricane Harvey, this need is even greater. An outstanding leadership team.

I have volunteered at Second servings for the past two years. Their mission is admirable and they are successfully helping to rescue food and get it to people who need it. Preventing the waste of food and feeding those who need it are both needed.

It is always fun and interesting to be a volunteer for Second Servings of Houston. I rode with Cat this time, and she is just so sweet and friendly. We collected all pre-cooked trays of food and delivered them to Texas House. The guys were thrilled and grateful. I look forward to next month!

The best place to volunteer. They are touching many places, many homes. Really very organized, very professional. I just love to Volunteer here. They honestly care about people. They are just an awesome organization. I hope people will donate to this organization. Highly recommended.

This is such a great organization - fantastic mission and passionate people! They pick up fresh, prepared and shelf stable foods that would otherwise end up in dumpsters and deliver them to organizations feeding those who are food insecure. I have volunteered several times and each time, it has been so rewarding to contribute to the impact. So glad Second Servings exist and so glad companies are donating excess food!

Second Servings is truly a worthwhile charity providing ready to eat foods to so many needy persons. Yesterday was my first time volunteering for the pick-up and drop-off function. I rode shotgun with an experienced driver who knew exactly where to go to collect and drop off food. It was extremely well organized. I was amazed at the quality of food received from so many of our local supermarkets and meals-ready-to-eat establishments. The institutions we delivered to were all very gracious. You will feel good giving your time to this worthy cause.
