My husband and I have been shopping at St. Matthew’s Thrift Stores for 3 years. And we love it! I discovered St. Mathew’s in March 2020. I was trying to donate my living room set. If I had known about St. Matthew’s beforehand, I would not have bought my new furniture.
We were on our way to Goodwill in Naples when we drove by St. Matthew’s. And, I said this is the place that takes donations. So, we stopped in. Can I tell you that it is the size of a car dealership! In fact, it was a car dealership! They offer everything from high-end furniture, to name brand clothing, house ware, artwork and so much more. The prices are reasonable, and they are always having a sale.
The staff delivers excellent customer service. Diana, the Manager at Metro Parkway store, is AMAZING and so is her staff. Each customer feels important and receives the same respect and attention as the next person.
Do not worry if you find that perfect gift and you cannot fit it in your car. Because they have a delivery service for you. Did you know they have an online store? Yes, they do! In fact, my friends have used it and were happy with their purchases. And I encourage you to sign up for their rewards program. It is FREE!
We visit St. Matthew’s regularly and highly recommend it to all of our friends and neighbors! But do not take my word, go see it for yourself!

You need to go there just to get a good laugh!! The few things I looked at were so ridiculously priced that a billionaire wouldn’t pay for them. I don’t know what they are thinking, I have no problem giving to charities and helping to support them but cmon let’s be realistic- 49.99 for a lamp that I wouldn’t pay 5.00 for at a yard sale and you could go to target and buy a new lamp for half the price at target, Walmart, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby….. I could go on but I think I have made my point! Save some money and get better quality and go to a Hope Hospice! Or if you need a serious belly laugh meander thru St. Matthews….

Nice merchandise, shop with a purpose. Is it the least expensive thrift store you will go to? Nope. All monies go to THIS community and help the addicted get well and they offer people employment once they complete their sobriety program. The quality far surpasses anything you will see in Goodwill and definitely much cleaner and coherently organized instead of looking like a garage sale.After being told at multiple new stores, I would have to wait for furniture, I bought new and gently used and helped our community simultaneously. I feel great about that.

Fantastic thrift store. Unique gems. I always find something there! Clean, nice furniture. This place is one I like to support because it gives back to the community and helps people. The guy who received my donations was super nice and fun! The staff is always friendly. Clean store. Parking lot. The men’s clothing selection and the book selection are slim. And the tennis racket I bought fell apart when I used it.

Staff are awesome! Friendly, helpful and always ready to assist. I shop here regularly and they always are courteous and friendly. Merchandise is always arranged well. Store is clean and in great condition. Love St Matthews House!!

St. Matthew's house is a great organization. Robert and Joe came by and picked up some household items we wanted to donate. They both were very kind and professional. It is nice to be able to give to an organization that does so much kindness for the community 🙂
