Theo was very knowledgeable and helped us pick bikes according to everyone’s ability and riding tendencies. He made lots of recommendations to keep our kids safe. When we came back after my son had a crash, he immediately popped the bike up on a stand and checked it over and made adjustments to make sure it was riding smoothly. We’ll be back!

Overall disappointed with this shop. I have bought two new Trek bikes from the Rockville store since 2019, and I have owned 5 Trek bikes since 2012. My Domane SL6 frame cracked in August 2024. I took it to Trek Rockville and they confirmed it needed replacement. Working with the bike shop, I purchased a replacement Trek frame. The shop estimated the cost to purchase the new frame and assemble the components from my old bike. They quoted a flat fee for removal of components and reassembly of the bike. A couple weeks later they called to let me know the bike was ready, but mentioned they had more difficulty removing components than expected. They added labor charges for a Level 2 Service and other labor (without contacting me) after quoting a flat rate for disassembly/reassembly. In all, the cost of the rebuild was about $600 more than estimated (though not all labor). Although frustrated I picked up the bike and paid the charges. Other issues, 1) the front brake must be fully depressed to the handlebars before the brake will engage (see photo); 2) one shifter hood cover appears to be for the wrong shifter and is loose and becomes detached when riding (see photo); and 3) they attached the computer from my old bike but threw away the duotrap sensor f (in order to use the computer I need to purchase a new sensor). I called to speak to the manager later that day to complain and after a cordial discussion he agreed to speak with the service manager and call me back the next day. That was a couple weeks ago, I've received no return call. Overall, I like the bike, but couldn't be more disappointed by the shop, especially the lack of follow-through on the commitment to call back. I will not use this shop again.

UPDATE ! ... I have to share that Brenda went above and beyond, as well as the staff, to make sure that my concerns and questions about Trek's "Trade-in Program" were resolved and clear. I did was able to benefit from it and now own a new Trek E-bike (and a trail hitch rack). Last week I called with questions about the program in order to appraise my bike for a trade-in but there was a misunderstanding about, my now old, Trek bike and model (it could not be found on their computer); but thanks to Brenda all was resolve satisfactorily. I'm happy with Trek's customer service help and guidance.

Went to pick up my son’s bike today and was stunned by their inventory. The staff was very friendly and well informed. The trek is the best nationwide for a reason, i saw some bike and electric bikes, i also saw bike costing over 5 grands! I think those kind are the ones like in the ET movie, you can fly to the moon with those lol. Anyway it was a great visit and i am happy with my son bike. Oh and if you are picking up after ordering it online make sure you call to check if its assembled before you come to the store .

I was so desperately looking for a bike rear rack for my cross country bicycle trip across America. Thanks to Trek Bicycle! The staff we worked with was super friendly and helpful.

However, I realized it later that I was charged a hefty amount; almost more than $40 compared to the actual price. $115 is what I paid and realized that it's around $65 is the cost. I'd have greatly appreciated if they charged me the actual price of the rear rack.
