I’m writing to share my disappointment with the customer service during my recent visit to your store. The interaction with a staff member was disappointing. When I mentioned that I had expected a bit more for my clothes, her response was dismissive and rude. Constructive feedback is essential, and customers deserve to be treated respectfully, even when there’s disagreement. I understand the need to take a percentage of sales, but when this is paired with poor customer service, it discourages customers from choosing your store over simply donating their items. After this negative experience I will not come back to this store but hopefully this could be seen as feedback to improve customer service. Also, please refrain from responding with vague excuses or explanations from your point of view, as there is no justification for poor customer service and mistreatment.

I’m not just saying this… Uptown cheapskate is top-tier out of all of the thrift stores I’ve been to. My friends would say I’m a thrift store connoisseur. At least once a month I take a couple hours on a Saturday or Sunday to dig through rack after rack and find my deals for me and my family. I also worked in and around a thrift store for years. Uptown cheapskate is super organized, they have good sales, and they have a really great selection as well. The way that they organize the clothes, makes it very easy to find things that you are looking for.They also have double X and triple X men’s sizes which is something I have a hard time finding at other stores. When they do their sales, they even marked the good stuff on sale as well, and they send out an email so you don’t miss the sales. They also don’t only mark the old and worn out things, and the good brand-name things end up on sale as well. I definitely recommend them for anyone trying a thrift store out for their first time, and especially for those who love thrifting.

If you haven't been to Uptown Cheapskate oh my goodness they have great prices and great selections they even have 20% 40% 60% off on some stuff that's marked. This particular location is located in Brandon. Support small business.

I went into this place thinking it was just another second hand store and boy was I wrong! This place is well organized and the customer service was great. I went right in and found exactly what I was looking for because the store arrangements made it easy. I will definitely be making this one of my go to places

Initially thought this place would be a “bootleg” Plato’s closet but I was very wrong. It’s much better! Prices are better , sale selections are much much larger, the store is very organized by color and size. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is entirely different as well, it’s well lit and bright so you can see if your clothes has a stain or not (which they don’t they but good quality stuff here) 10/5 stars i definitely recommend!
